Vulnerability in the workplace<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Being vulnerable can be a good thing in the right situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timing is important to consider when you\u2019re opening yourself up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aubrey and Lindsay share different situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1: Susceptible to harm<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Here, the word \u2018vulnerable\u2019 means something or someone is exposed to the possibility of being harmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The noun for referring to this is \u2018vulnerability.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a company, when it\u2019s vulnerable, you\u2019ll hear terms like \u2018hostile takeover.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This could happen a few different ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A company might attempt to acquire another company against the will of the target company’s management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It may be without the approval of its board of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This often happens when someone appeals to a company’s shareholders to buy their shares at a premium price to gain control<\/p>\n\n\n\n
