issues affecting society as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to score highly, there are several things to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today you&#8217;ll learn about each of these and hear band 9 sample answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are all related to decisions, a common IELTS Speaking topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure be about a minute long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You won&#8217;t want to think about this while answering on test day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, you must practice in advance so that you can feel how long they should be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Set a timer and aim to speak for a minute when answering Part 3 questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the Examiner interrupts your answer, do not let it throw you off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will not lower your score, but will actually show your fluency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They may need to do this in order to ask all the required questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-vocabulary\"><strong>#2: Vocabulary<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The most formal vocabulary on the IELTS Speaking exam will be in Part 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts-energy-716-celebration-high-scoring-ielts-part-1-answers\/\">Part 1 questions<\/a> are more informal about your life, hobbies and interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because Part 3 is about society, you&#8217;ll speak more formally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need topic-specific href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/you-need-formal-linking-phrases\/\">linking phrases<\/a> to join ideas and organize thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This can be tricky, as it doesn&#8217;t always feel natural to use linking phrases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To boost scores, rather than just saying also, then, next you should opt for less common options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use both personal examples as well as those not connected to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding details will allow you to use a multitude of vocabulary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
