Writing band descriptor for band 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;re likely assuming you&#8217;ll at least get a 6 or 7, so why worry about a 4?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, key mistakes can give you this score for Task Achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Task Achievement band 4<\/strong>: Key features\/bullet points which are presented may be irrelevant, repetitive, inaccurate or inappropriate.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-danger-of-inaccurate-information-0\"><strong>The danger of inaccurate information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are writing an IELTS Task 1 essay, all the information you provide must be accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Numbers, dates and figures must all be correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it isn&#8217;t, your Task Achievement score will drop to a 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a tragic mistake that you want to avoid!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-labeling-mistakes-0\"><strong>Labeling mistakes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A recent essay Aubrey provided feedback on contained a tragic error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This caused the student to receive band 4 on Task Achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The student had mixed up two of the labels on the chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The line marked &#8220;tablets&#8221; was described as &#8220;desktops&#8221; and vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These lines from the graph were referred to incorrectly in both the overall trend and the body paragraphs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ielts-task-1-essay\"><strong>IELTS Task 1 essay<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following is the Task 1 topic for this sample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" slightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, this was inaccurate, as sales of tablets skyrocketed on the chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likely, the mistake was mixing up the labels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, in the make sure you are clear about labels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This should be checked again while you are writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check to make sure numbers are accurate and nothing has been mixed
