href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/discuss-both-sides-in-ielts-writing-task-2\/\">Task Response<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For these essays, you are responding to a prompt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to come up with your own ideas, reasons and details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many different ways to respond, as you will use your personal experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-similarities-between-task-1-and-task-2\"><strong>#2: Similarities between Task 1 and Task 2<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many strategies you need for Task 1 are also required on Task 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For both, the Task score requires you to be specific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to share key numbers on Task 1 and specific details and examples on Task 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For both, the Cohesion\/Coherence requires <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/get-band-9-linking-words\/\">a variety of linking phrases<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vocabulary score for both essays requires less common vocabulary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the Grammar score, both essays need a variety of sentence structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This requirement is satisfied by using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts-energy-1231-how-many-complex-sentences-grammar-7\/\">simple, compound and complex
