I\u2019m not sure we\u2019re as customer-centric as we need to be.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They lost the contract when they weren\u2019t client-centric enough.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-kid-centric\"><strong>#3: Kid-centric<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is often used to describe an event that is fun for kids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A kid-centric activity gives kids a chance to have fun and be entertained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The event was definitely kid-centric, with most of the activities appealing to young children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let\u2019s make sure the fundraiser is kid-centric since many families with children will be attending.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-punctuation-of-compound-adjectives\"><strong>Punctuation of compound adjectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With compound adjectives, the possibilities are endless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can combine many words to create new words and make your conversations more vibrant and interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not all words that have \u2018centric\u2019 have to be hyphenated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Words like egocentric and ethnocentric are stand-alone words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When they come before a noun, compound adjectives should be hyphenated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If after the noun, they don&#8217;t need to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is this a dog-friendly hotel?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is this hotel dog friendly?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-roleplay\"><strong>Roleplay<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a quick roleplay to show how this vocabulary is used in conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this scenario, Lindsay and Aubrey are planning an event together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Lindsay: <\/strong>I saw posters that were printed and I really like them.<br><strong>Aubrey:<\/strong> I agree! They are very customer-centric and would appeal to the crowds we are hoping to draw.<br><strong>Lindsay:<\/strong> Definitely. I know the marketing team was trying to be audience-centric. I think they nailed it.<br><strong>Aubrey: <\/strong>Are we expecting many kids to attend? I noticed the activities weren\u2019t very kid-centric.<br><strong>Lindsay: <\/strong>That\u2019s a good point.
