with the culture of an organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica shares that for every employee, there is a cultures that is best for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no perfect fits you<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica shares a story about the work culture that\u2019s best for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She clarifies that the culture that suits her won&#8217;t be what\u2019s best had with a vendor that didn\u2019t end very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They paid this vendor a large amount of money but when they didn&#8217;t provide the service, they had to cut ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica felt accountable for what happened since she was the one who brought the vendor on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She told her boss she had bad news, and he was immediately worried and asked what happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was embarrassed and said that the vendor didn&#8217;t deliver, causing the company to lose hundreds of dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her boss was relieved and said that&#8217;s just business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He had been worried that something happened to her daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-perspective\"><strong>Perspective<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica&#8217;s employer tells her to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/sesame-street-star-ammar-sabban\/\">keep things in perspective<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Results are important for their company but that comes and goes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She knows they care about her, and they took it as a lesson to do better moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being valued as an employee may be important for you in a company class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-culture-equation\"><strong>Culture equation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica will share three questions that you can ask an interviewer to understand the culture of a company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is called the Culture Equation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a model for intentionally crafting the way people think and act to get results at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This equation provides a systematic way of questioning an organization&#8217;s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-what-is-the-organization-s-purpose-or-mission-statement\"><strong>#1: What is the organization&#8217;s purpose or mission statement?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a good first question to understand what motivates them to accomplish their goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can understand the meaning behind their actions and policies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a red flag if the business leader and the rest of the team doesn\u2019t know the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/present-in-business-with-executive-coach-eric-holsapple\/\">company&#8217;s purpose<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means they are money-driven and there will likely be toxicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-what-are-the-strategic-plans-for-how-this-company-is-going-to-win\"><strong>#2: What are the strategic plans for how this company is going to win?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You want to learn the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/vulnerability-works-in-american-business-culture\/\">big bets that the leadership team has made<\/a> to bring the company closer to its goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a lot of companies who know their purpose but don\u2019t have the strategies to make this vision a reality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to know their plans to fulfill their purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 you want to dig into the culture and learn how the people you\u2019ll potentially be working with think and act to get results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re going to understand their passion and
