going to talk about deliberate practice in English language learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deliberate practice is a method used by many successful people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have to be intentional in everything we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/sesame-street-star-ammar-sabban\/\">act with a purpose<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you apply this to id=\"h-three-steps-to-improve-english-fluency\"><strong>Three steps to improve English fluency<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning a new language is a big project to undertake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With deliberate practice, the first step is to identify what your goal is and what is keeping you from the goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are three steps from Amy that help her students improve their English<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-identify-your-problem-and-set-goals\"><strong>#1: Identify your problem and set goals<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Amy has encountered many students who have set a very general goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a common mistake made by students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will give you an unclear path for how to get there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, select two to three situations in which you recently had to use English and it didn\u2019t turn out the way you wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe you didn\u2019t feel good about how it went.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Focus on these situations when setting a goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will reveal the problem areas you need to address. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowing where you need to improve will get you closer to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/3-success-secrets-from-a-silicon-valley-ceo-with-elsa-founder-vu-van\/\">your goal of fluency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-purposeful-practice\"><strong>#2: Purposeful practice<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you\u2019ve identified the problem and you know your goal, the next step is to know how to practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding materials that are specific to your problem area can be hard at times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It may be necessary for you to find a coach to guide you with your English learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need someone you can bounce ideas off who will give you proper feedback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your practice shouldn&#8217;t be general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It must be targeted to the problem you\u2019re trying to solve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-reflect-on-your-practice\"><strong>#3: Reflect on your practice <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You may have gained progress and it is vital to be aware of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Look back and assess yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check how far you\u2019ve improved and if there are still any areas that need more attention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From here you can recreate your strategy and bring yourself to a higher level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You never get to completely solve your problem on the first go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also valuable to get an expert to give you feedback on how you\u2019ve done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use what you learn from them to further improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\"
