answers, think about these scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What score would you give Mio?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now compare Jessica&#8217;s feedback to yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Be ready for interruptions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica first points out how well Mio did when the Examiner interrupted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an answer is too long, the Examiner might say, &#8220;Thank you&#8221; in order to ask the next question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be ready for this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not let it throw you off or make you nervous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Practice with another person<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mio felt nervous and she feels it affected her performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has not had a lot of practice being interviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is extremely helpful to have another person ask you IELTS Speaking questions before test day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This way it won&#8217;t feel so foreign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will boost your confidence and help you not be so nervous during your exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" answers Mio scored a 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica shares details for each score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#1: Fluency\/Coherence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For Fluency\/Coherence this score was improved dramatically in Part 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Part 2, a better-organized, more detailed answer is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just after a minute, Mio ran out of things to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She felt she derailed from the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica points out that you can go off-topic, but it must be organized with transition phrases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, you don&#8217;t want to run out of things to say!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Before, during and after strategy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A great way to add more detail is to share what happened before, during and after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I was working online, scrolling through social media minding my own business when, suddenly, this bright shiny advertisement popped up on the screen!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>What happened during?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Give details about the actual advertisements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Share what it looked like and how it grabbed your attention!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you still have time, you can then share what you did after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I got up and ran to 7-11 and bought some chocolate ice cream immediately!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Share plenty of details about who, what, when, where, why and how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Part 3 Mio used some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/get-band-9-linking-words\/\">great transition phrases<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I firmly believe that<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For example<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strategy for improving Vocabulary<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mio used a lot of great vocabulary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, she had quite a few mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the phrase &#8216;one time.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Actually, one time I saw Emma Watson using a specific perfume.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mistakes<\/strong>: strawberry crumbs, snowboard players, on that spot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica shares that &#8216;crumbs&#8217; is used for crumbly food like bread and cookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can&#8217;t be used about ice cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of &#8216;snowboard players,&#8217; we just say &#8216;snowboarders.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The phrase &#8216;on the spot&#8217; must be used word-for-word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When should you take risks?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica mentions that you shouldn&#8217;t take risks on test day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mio asks for clarification on this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessica shares that Mio knows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/answer-abominable-part-3-questions\/\">enough good vocabulary to score 7 or 8<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must trust yourself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re reaching and trying to use words just for the sake of using them, you&#8217;ll end up making mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/be-a-vocabulary-freak-on-ielts\/\">Use the words that come to mind<\/a> as you think of your answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t let it throw you off to try extremely hard vocabulary you&#8217;re not familiar enough with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
