So I think plan A is to record 5 episodes today, but plan B is to do 3 today and 2 tomorrow. Right?<br>Okay, so what\u2019s our plan B if this doesn\u2019t work out?<br>Let\u2019s make a plan A and plan B so we can anticipate any issues that come up.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#2: From A to Z<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you say you want to review or do something \u2018from A to Z,\u2019 it means you want to do something completely or from beginning to end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em><strong>Example:<\/strong><br>Let\u2019s review this from A to Z.<br>Okay, so the kids are all ready for bed A to Z so all you have to do is read them a story. Thanks so much for babysitting!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#3: The ABCs of\u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This refers to the details or information about something. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be used both for lots of details and also general basics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can commonly see this in books that are comprehensive guides or manuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em><strong>Example:<\/strong><br>Let\u2019s go over the ABCs of knife safety.<br>I\u2019ll give you a quick rundown of the ABCs of the real estate market.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#4: An A\/B\/C student<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see this in the grading system in most schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The letters A to F are used to correspond to a certain grade of a student or to represent their academic standing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018A\u2019 is the best and \u2018F\u2019 is a failing grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em><strong>Example:<\/strong><br>I\u2019m a C student at best when it comes to biology.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#5: A, B, or C list celebrity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar to using letters to represent grades in school, saying \u2018A, B, or, C &#8211; list\u2019 celebrity shows a ranking of popularity in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em><strong>Example:<\/strong><br>She\u2019s an A-list celebrity, so the place will be packed!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Roleplay<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you have learned these different expressions using the letters A, B, and C, here is a quick roleplay from Michelle and Lindsay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is for you to better understand how to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/time-phrases-for-sharing-your-past-in-english\/\">use these terms in a conversation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this scenario, Michelle and Lindsay are friends and are planning a party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Michelle: <\/strong>Okay, so I think we have to make an A list and a B list for space.<br><strong>Lindsay: <\/strong>Ugh! But let\u2019s make a plan B.<br><strong>Lindsay: <\/strong>Yes, if the food is late we will start with some of the speeches and dancing.<br><strong>Michelle: <\/strong>Perfect! I\u2019m so glad we are going through the ABCs of party planning! I\u2019m a total C student when it comes to understanding details and moving parts of events.<br><strong>Lindsay:<\/strong> Oh, it\u2019s okay. And don\u2019t worry. It\u2019s not like any A-list celebrities are coming. Relax!
