It\u2019s 100% guaranteed!<\/strong><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Expect to be interrupted<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Examiner is being held to stricter timing guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their role has changed a bit recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They&#8217;re required to ask a certain number of questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to this, they will need to interrupt in order to fit in all the questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#2: <strong>Challenge of Part 3 questions <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kunyao mentioned that she felt the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts-energy-365-sample-speaking-part-3-answers-internet\/\">Part 3 questions<\/a> were general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She may have meant that they were asking about society in general or broader issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Part 3 questions will ask you about something quite specific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The challenge is that they often seem to require longer, in-depth answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your time has elapsed, you must get to the answer right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will make it possible for the Examiner to interrupt and ask all the required questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#3: <strong>Examiner poker face<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kunyao also was thrown off by the Examiner&#8217;s lack of expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>And the examiner, with a poker face, kept asking me to give examples which made me feel tense. <\/p><p>I felt like I was having an interview! <\/p><p>I&#8217;m wondering if it&#8217;s common to feel that way or it depends on the expression of different people. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This lack of reaction from the Examiner is to be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are not allowed to react.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They must give you no indication of your performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be prepared for them to give you this unexpressive poker face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#4: <strong>Score anxiety<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kunyao was worried that her scores would be affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The good news is that your score is not affected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/speaking-practice-lowering-your-score\/\">if the Examiner interrupts you to ask additional questions.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If anything, this increases your fluency score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It shows that you are fluent and could continue talking on that subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you are interrupted because you are rambling without answering the question, this will affect your score adversely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure to answer the question right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can then share related details and go on a tangent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recommend the podcast!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>She finished her message with a promise to recommend the podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Again, tons of thanks to you all!
