and &#8216;least.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When describing numbers and percentages, you need &#8216;lowest,&#8217; which is the superlative of &#8216;low.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;Least&#8217; is the superlative of &#8216;less,&#8217; which cannot be used to describe percentages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, it is used most often to describe adjectives and adverbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The correct way to write these sentences is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Fresh coffee showed the lowest percentage for both cities, with approximately 44% in Sydney and 43% in Melbourne.&nbsp;<\/p><p>However, the lowest quantity of drinks was in Brisbane.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pro tip: Don&#8217;t just use &#8216;lowest&#8217;
