disrespectful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Phrases for Business English Emails <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/aee-1774-3-tips-for-confident-business-emails-in-english-with-author-erin-lebacqz\/\">When sending an email at work<\/a>, you have to consider the tone and the relationship you have with the recipient of the email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should use the appropriate tone with your co-worker and superiors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re emailing the CEO or your direct manager, you don\u2019t want them to think you are rude or rushing them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lindsay and Aubrey share with you a few phrases, both formal and informal, that you can use to send the right message. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#1: Formal <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>\u201cPlease respond at your earliest convenience.\u201d <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a good formal way to show some urgency in an email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use this with your colleagues when working on a project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also use this with prospective clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>\u201cI look forward to hearing from you soon.\u201d <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This one doesn\u2019t express urgency if used alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have to mention the deadline prior to this phrase so they know when they need to respond to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll also need to let them know if you\u2019re requiring them to acknowledge your email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#2: Informal <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>\u201cLet me know asap\u201d <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you notice, the asap is written in lower case letter because this is a much informal approach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abbreviations are usually written in capital letters in a business setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aubrey shares she uses this phrase often when emailing with the All Ears English team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is very simple, clear and casual. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>\u201cPlease get back to me as soon as you can.\u201d <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned earlier, you have to consider the relationship you have with the recipient of your email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can send this out to a prospective client who you already have a relationship with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach has more of a personal touch so it can be a bit semi-formal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
