Be active. <a href=\"\/ielts\/ielts-energy-ielts-listening-test\/\">Circle key words.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Know what you are listening for- is it a name? a number? a date?<\/p>\n<p>Have that information in your head when you start listening.<\/p>\n<p>Next you will listen to the conversation and listen for the answers.<\/p>\n<p>This part is scary but if you do the two steps that we described before this, you will reduce your anxiety and you will be ready to write down the right answers.<\/p>\n<p>Next you are going to go back and check your answers when the instructions tell you to do it.
