On IELTS Speaking Part 2, do you know how to impressively describe a movie?<\/p>\n

This is a very common topic card on the exam.<\/p>\n

To me, because I love movies, this seems like it should be the easiest and most fun question you could get!<\/p>\n

The best IELTS Speaking Part 2 strategy is to tell a story<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This strategy naturally goes along with any task card asking you to describe a movie<\/a>, TV show <\/a>or book<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Many students do not tackle this question directly enough, talking around the topic. For example, a candidate might talk about what friends went the cinema, or how much popcorn they bought.<\/p>\n

If you don’t dive into the story in detail, you won’t have enough to talk about.<\/p>\n

Telling a story gives you lots of specific details to talk about, and it increases your Fluency\/Coherence, Pronunciation <\/a>and Vocabulary scores.<\/p>\n
