Can I call you then?\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You are essentially asking them if they will be available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Some examples to demonstrate this include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cPeople always want to be around her because she\u2019s so funny!\u201d<\/em>&nbsp; <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This means that people want to be nearby or physically close to somebody for a variety of reasons.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>\u201cMeet me at the park. I\u2019ll be around there at 7.\u201d<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>This means that you\u2019ll be near the park at that time. It may indicate that you are walking or moving in that general area and therefore may be in that particular place around that time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This one phrase is used very frequently in conversation, but there are other similar phrases you can use interchangeably.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Additional Phrases To Say The Same Thing<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Though \u201cbe around\u201d works fine, there are other phrases that mean the same thing.<\/p>\n<p>It can help to know several of these phrases so that you can use them in everyday conversation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Be in the area<\/em>: This means that you are going to be in about the same general vicinity.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cI\u2019ll be in the area at 6. Want to meet?\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>Be in the vicinity:&nbsp;<\/em>This means the same sort of thing as you will be in the area, but it is a bit more formal in its use. You are letting somebody know you will be nearby but you are taking it to a more formal level.\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI\u2019ll be in the general vicinity so we should try to get together.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>Spend time with:&nbsp;<\/em>It means that you enjoy being with that person and being in their company.\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;\u201cI love spending time with him. He\u2019s so positive.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>Be free<\/em>: It\u2019s another way to say that you will be available at a certain time and can meet or talk or help then.\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI\u2019m free at 2 so I can meet anytime after that.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>Be available<\/em>: This may seem like an obvious one, but it\u2019s important to include because it\u2019s commonly used.\n<ul>\n<li>&nbsp;\u201cI\u2019m available all day.
