8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Speaking: 7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Writing: 6.5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>She needed a 7 for Writing.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Why did Michelle apply for a remark?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>She knew she only needed a half band increase.<\/p>\n<p>What is more, she was confident she had done better than her previous attempts.<\/p>\n<p>She felt confident she could improve by that half band!<\/p>\n<p>While completing the Writing on test day, she knew she had used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/keys\">3 Keys strategies.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>She was proud of her performance and felt she had earned a 7.<\/p>\n<p>She decided, \u201cWhy not?\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>What is the process for requesting a remark?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Right after she received her results, she contacted the institution and asked for a remark.<\/p>\n<p>She received a response via email with a form to fill out.<\/p>\n<p>She filled out the form with her information.<\/p>\n<p>It gave her the option to choose all 4 sections of the exam for remarking at the same cost.<\/p>\n<p>She did not need the remark for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts\/ielts-energy-560-robertos-focus-8-5-ielts-listening-reading\/\">Listening and Reading<\/a>, as she had scored 8.<\/p>\n<p>She requested the remark for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts\/ielts-energy-996-examples-of-examples-for-ielts-speaking-and-writing\/\">Speaking and Writing <\/a>and paid the fee.<\/p>\n<p>The application was sent to London where a senior Examiner checked the essays and Speaking recording to reevaluate.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:47px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>How long was the process?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>She received an email after about two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>They informed her that her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts\/ielts-energy-991-writing-word-count\/\">Writing<\/a> score was changed.<\/p>\n<p>However, she was not informed what the change was.<\/p>\n<p>She had to send in her original score form.<\/p>\n<p>Once they received it, they sent her a new form with her new scores.<\/p>\n<p>Once she was sent her official scores, she saw that it had been increased by a
