decrease if teenagers aren\u2019t out after dark<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Think back to your own life.<\/p>\n<p>When you were out late at night, were you doing positive things?<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t be afraid curfew<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>When teenagers are given responsibility, they rise to the occasion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They want to be trustworthy.<\/p>\n<p>If they are presented with rules and taboo, they want to break them.<\/p>\n<p>Alcohol drinking age would be a good example.<\/p>\n<p>In the states, many young people drink because it\u2019s prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>In other countries where the legal drinking age is lower, underage drinking is less of a problem.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>What determines your Task score for Task 2?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You must cover everything in the question.<\/p>\n<p>You must make&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts\/ielts-energy-622-two-sides-ielts-task-2-question\/\">your personal position clear<\/a>&nbsp;throughout the essay.<\/p>\n<p>Main ideas must be extended clearly with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/?s=supporting+details\">details and examples<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Every sentence has to be connected to the question in the topic.<\/p>\n<div always discuss both sides, otherwise I won\u2019t be able to score more than a 6?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is only important for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts\/right-answer-ielts-writing-task-2\/\">your Task Response score<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If the&nbsp;<strong>Task 2 question presents two sides<\/strong>&nbsp;of something, you&nbsp;<strong>must address both<\/strong>&nbsp;in your essay, or you\u2019ll get&nbsp;<strong>below a 6 for Task<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts\/ielts-energy-567-one-opinion-gets-band-score-5\/\">Argument essays are best here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, if a Task 2 question&nbsp;<strong>only presents opinions<\/strong>&nbsp;about any given topic, and&nbsp;<strong>argument essays are possible<\/strong>&nbsp;here too!<\/p>\n<p>For many reasons, writing an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.allearsenglish.com\/ielts\/ielts-energy-576-secrets-caios-overall-8-ielts\/\">argument essay is usually the best choice<\/a>&nbsp;for most IELTS candidates.<\/p>\n<p>If you&nbsp;<strong>completely agree with the opinion<\/strong>&nbsp;given in the question, though, you still&nbsp;<a
